Rams have acquired Cooks alongside fourth-round pick in the offseason from the New England Patriots, sending a 2019 first-round and six-round draft picks.
“Even before I got here, you saw something special going on with this team, with the coach, our great owner, and the teammates that I’m involved with,” – said Cooks after inking the deal. “It’s a young culture that is very energetic.”
Brandin Cooks was drafted in the league by the New Orleans Saints in the 2014 NFL Draft with the 20th overall pick. He spent three years with the Saints, before being traded to the Patriots in 2017. In the last season with the Pats, Cooks had 1,082 yards and seven touchdowns, while averaging career-best 16.6 yards per reception.
