The LA Rams are quietly putting together a formidable season in 2020 and are getting their name back in the Super Bowl conversation. The confirmation of this came Monday night when the team went to Tampa Bay and beat the Buccaneers 27-24.

Entering the game as big underdogs, the Rams managed to impose their will on the Bucs early on. Jared Goff connected with Robert Woods for a touchdown in the Rams’ opening drive of the game, while the defense didn’t allow any points to Tampa in the first quarter.

Bucs bounced back in the second quarter with two straight touchdowns, forcing the Rams to play catch-up before halftime. Still, Goff and his offense kept their composure and managed to put 10 points on the board before the clock run out to keep their team ahead.

Things didn’t star very well for the Rams in the second half, as they had an interception and missed field goal in consecutive drives. Luckily for them, Bucs didn’t manage to capitalize on these mistakes and even returned the favor later on.

The fourth quarter saw the Rams’ offense struggling to put points on the board, as they managed only a field goal throughout the entire period. But the defense did their part, limiting Tampa Bay to just seven points and securing a 27-24 win for their side.

This win got the Rams to a 7-3 record and on top of the highly competitive NFC West. Buccaneers, on the other hand, are now 7-4 and sit one game behind New Orleans Saints in NFC South.
