After a loss to New Orleans Saints, which snapped their eight-game undefeated run, Los Angeles Rams returned to winning way against Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. That win, however, came with a hefty price since they might have lost their wide receiver Cooper Kupp for the season.

Kupp was running a route in the fourth quarter when he suddenly fell to the ground and grabbed his left knee. The 25-year-old wasn’t able to walk away from the field himself after that and had to be assisted by the training staff, which was immediately a bad sign. According to NFL Insider Ian Rapaport, the Rams are now afraid that he tore his ACL.

“I don’t think it’s good,” – said Rams coach Sean McVay after the game. “We’ll get the MRI, but it doesn’t look good right now.”

If Cooper Kupp ends up missing the rest of the season, it will be a big blow for the Los Angeles Rams and their Super Bowl aspirations, considering his production so far. Kupp caught 40 passes for 566 yards and six touchdowns in just seven games he played in 2018.

He’s been a valuable piece of our team and a guy we’ll miss,” – said Jared Goff.

After playing his college career with Eastern Washington Cooper Kupp was selected in the third round of 2017 NFL Draft by the Rams. He ended up playing an important role for the team in his rookie season, catching 869 yards and having five touchdowns. Kupp was named into PFWA All-Rookie Team.
