The Oakland Raiders thought that wide receiver Antonio Brown was going to be a talented and dynamic addition to its offense when they acquired him over the offseason from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Unfortunately for Jon Gruden’s team, Brown has been nothing but a headache so far.

After a weeks-long dispute with the team and the NFL over the type of helmet that Brown wanted to use for the season after it was banned by the league due to safety concerns, he finally returned definitely to training camp last week.

Due to the number of missed practices and walk-throughs during the grievances, Brown was levied a fine by the team and GM Mike Mayock of over $50,000.

Antonio Brown took to Instagram to complain about the fines, provoking the ire of Mayock.

Now, according to several reports, Brown could be looking at a suspension that would keep him from participating in Raiders games until further notice.

The wide receiver wasn’t in the building for practice on Thursday, and the team is expected to provide more information on his status soon.

Brown and Mayock’s relationship might be irreparably strained, and a suspension could be the least of the two’s worries going forward.
