Free safety Quandre Diggs announced that he is enthusiastic about rejoining practice sessions with the Seattle Seahawks as well as representing the team in their regular season opener. Diggs revealed, however, that he will only be able to return to practice sessions once he has dealt with an undisclosed personal financial matter.

Currently on the final year of his contract with the Seahawks, Diggs has not yet been offered a contract extension by the team, meaning that this will be his final season with the Seahawks should the franchise decline to make him an offer.

Diggs refused to provide any specific details about the issue with which he is dealing, instead stating to reporters: “I would just say I had a couple things that I had to get cleared up for myself business-wise just like the team, business-wise, they have stuff that they have to do.”

While expressing his gratitude to the Seahawks for the opportunity to represent them in the NFL, Diggs also explained that his personal financial matter is of utmost importance in his life, further stating that he has a duty to safeguard his family in the same way that the team needs to protect itself.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
