Christian Pulisic was substituted during second-half stoppage time of AC Milan’s 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night. The Milan midfielder was unable to keep playing after injuring his right leg while chasing down a loose ball.

While former Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar handed PSG an early lead, the home team provided a swift response, with Rafael Leão netting the equalizer just three minutes later. Five minutes after the half-time break, Olivier Giroud scored the winner for Milan, with the Italian team managing to hold onto their lead until the final whistle.

Although Milan started the day at the bottom of Group F, this win propelled them into third place and just one point off of second place, which would be enough to secure progression to the Champions League knockout rounds. Milan are next set to host Borussia Dortmund before playing their final group game away at Newcastle United.
