Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven are looking to keep United States Men’s National Team players Sergiño Dest and Malik Tillman at the club after their loan deals expire. Dest is on loan from FC Barcelona while Tillman arrived from Bayern Munich.

PSV sporting director Earnie Stewart, who left his role as sporting director for U.S. Soccer to join the Dutch club, confirmed to reporters that both players are willing to remain at the club following their loans. “Fortunately, yes. That is of course also very important. As a club, you can want anything, but a player is very important in this. You first discuss it with the player and his management, so it is a bit premature to say that here at this table,” Stewart explained.

The Eindhoven-based club has gotten this season off to the perfect start, winning all 16 of their Eredivisie games to date to establish a 10-point leader at the top of the league table. Should they defeat Excelsior on January 13, PSV will break the record for the longest winning streak in Eredivisie history.
