Brazil international and Paris Saint-Germain star striker Neymar might have to cut his season short once again. After missing the second part of the 2017-18 season due to surgery on his right foot, the 26-year-old might be forced to do the same in 2018-19 according to sources close to Ligue 1 powerhouse.

Neymar injured his right foot in last week’s Coupe de France round of 32 match against Strasbourg, leaving the pitch in tears. The reports say that he fractured the same fifth metatarsal in his right foot like the last season, and that he might need another surgery to fix the issue. If this ends up to be the case, the Brazilian will most likely have to end his season prematurely.

Sources say that Neymar and PSG are currently debating whether the surgery is the only option, with both sides remaining optimistic that another solution might come up in the coming days. The best case scenario would be that the player reacts positively to treatment in which case he could return at some point in April.

Before the injury, Neymar was once again the Paris Saint-Germain’s best player, managing to score 13 goals in 13 matches alongside six assists in Ligue 1. He also added five goals in Championship League and one goal in French Cup.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
