Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has made up his mind on where he wants to play in 2023. According to multiple reports from league insiders, Hopkins is set to sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Hopkins will get a two-year deal that has a base value of $26 million and could be potentially worth $32 million. The veteran wideout will earn $12 million guaranteed this upcoming season, with an additional $3 million being available in incentives.

Hopkins spent the 2022 campaign with the Arizona Cardinals, where he had 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns despite playing only nine games. The Cardinals ended up releasing him in May after the two sides couldn’t agree on a contract restructure that would lower his $30.75 million cap hit.

After becoming a free agent, Hopkins took time to decide on his next destination. He visited the New England Patriots but the Titans likely ended up being a more appealing option for the 31-year-old as he will immediately step in the No. 1 WR role.

The Titans hope Hopkins can elevate their WR room, which was considered one of the worst in the league. He will be a reliable target for veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill while taking away attention from last year’s first-round pick Treylon Burks.
