Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and his offense scored 12 unanswered points to defeat the New York Giants 22-21 on Thursday night.

After the Giants second-year quarterback Daniel Jones led an impressive 97-yard touchdown drive to go up 21-10 with slightly over six minutes left to play, the Giants looked to be on their way to their second straight victory.

But as the old saying goes, bad teams find ways to lose. And that’s exactly what the Giants did. The Giants have up a quick touchdown soon after.

When the Giants offense got back on the field, tight end Evan Engram dropped a perfect pass by Jones on 3rd and 7 that would have iced the game.

Instead, the Giants punted and gave Wentz a chance to get the win. Wentz answered with a 71-yard touchdown drive that gave the Eagles a one-point lead with just 40 seconds left in the game.

The Eagles defense then ended the game with a sack-fumble of Jones, who was once again let down by poor offensive line play, which has been the case with the Giants offense all season long.

The Eagles are now 2-4-1 while the Giants drop to 1-6.
