The relationship between French midfielder Paul Pogba and his club Manchester United is not ideal according to multiple sources close to the situation. The things are so bad that Pogba is even considering leaving the club after criticism he received this summer from his manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has openly criticized the 25-year-old Frenchman in the past, and doubted his devotion to the club. This continued after Pogba won the 2018 World Cup, with Portuguese manager wondering why the midfielder plays a lot better on the international level than with Manchester United.

All of this made Paul Pogba wanting a move from England. Reportedly, he is set on going to Barcelona or returning to his former club Juventus.

Still, there are no indications that transfer might happen. Pogba currently has three years left on his contract, and the club is not considering making a sale at this moment. The player is also expected to meet with Mourinho at some point this week and is possible that they will work out their issues.

Paul Pogba started his professional career with Manchester United, but due to a limited number of appearances decided to sign with Juventus. In Italy, he established himself as one of the most talented midfielders in the world. Between 2012 and 2016, he played 178 games for Juve and scored 34 goals while winning seven trophies.

Realizing their mistake, United decided to bring Pogba back to Manchester in a transfer worth $120 million, breaking a then-world record.
