Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for life without their departing star forward Kylian Mbappe. According to UK media outlet Daily Mirror, PSG is looking to pursue a move for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

Reportedly, PSG is ready to offer £75 million ($95 million) in hopes to entice Man Utd to let Rashford go. The Premier League side is believed to be open to discussions but will likely hold out for a bid of £100 million ($127.5 million).

It is believed that Rashford is PSG’s primary target but also not the only one. If they are able to get a deal done with Manchester United, the French club is expected to turn to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

While Manchester United considers Rashford to be a key player, they also need to comply with the Financial Fair Play rules. Netting a huge transfer sum for Rashford would alleviate these concerns and open up the possibility for other moves in the summer.

PSG also pursued Rashford back in 2022, when they were reportedly willing to give him wages in the range of £400,000-a-week. At the time, the England international opted to stay at Old Trafford and later signed a new deal with Red Devils.

Rashford has underperformed this season, scoring just seven goals and adding six assists in 34 matches in all competitions. For comparison, he finished 2022-23 with 30 goals in 56 matches.
