Football fans have been curious for a while where defensive lineman JJ Watt will end up. There are a handful of possible destinations for the longtime Texan, but it appears that the Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans are among the favorites.

Watt was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2011, and he’s been there ever since. In his first five years in the NFL, Watt impressed a whole lot of people by winning the Defensive Player of the Year award three times. Although he’s gotten older, he would still be a major asset for any team’s defense.

According to NFL reporter John Clayton, the Packers and Titans have the best chance of getting him, and he said as much on 93.7 The Fan, a Pittsburgh-based talk show: “I think it’s going to be Tennessee, Buffalo or Green Bay, probably more Tennessee or Green Bay. Outside chance at the Raiders.”

However, there’s another team that many fans are hoping he’ll land with: the Pittsburgh Steelers. Due to the fact that two of his brothers, TJ and Derek, play for them, fans have fantasized that JJ will join and complete the trio.

However, it is likely they Watt will go to the place that he believes he has the best chance of winning a title, which might not be Pittsburgh. Salary negotiations will also weigh in on his decision, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
