Soccer fans in Orlando received another reason to get excited about the summer of 2019. Major League soccer and Orlando City SC both confirmed that Orlando will host 2019 MLS All-Star Game. The date of the game and the opponent is still left to be determined.

Orlando City SC has played an important role in the rise and advancement of Major League Soccer during the past few years, and we are pleased to bring the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target to this passionate soccer market,” – said MLS commissioner Don Garber in a statement.

2019 MLS All-Star Game will be held at Orlando City Stadium, which will be surely packed for this event, especially since the attendance for MLS games on the stadium was 99 percent of the 25,500 seat capacity.

We are extremely proud to have been selected to host the 2019 MLS All-Star Game and all of the events that make an All-Star week,” – said Orlando City SC chairman and majority owner Flavio Augusto da Silva. “This gives us another significant opportunity to welcome national and international soccer to Central Florida, and we couldn’t be prouder of our fans for embracing our club and creating the passionate atmosphere that is giving us the opportunity to bring this event to Orlando City Stadium.

This, however, won’t be the first time MLS All-Star Game is being held in Orlando. The first time MLS All-Star team had the opportunity to play in this city was in 1998 when they faced league stars from the rest of the world at Citrus Bowl and got a 6-1 win.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
