It’s on! The 2018 NFL season is finally underway, and football fans all over the country have their Sundays planned out for months ahead and can’t wait to see how far their team can make it this year. Except for Bills’ fan. They’ll probably spend this season hiding until the season is over.

Week 1 of 2018 NFL season just wrapped up on Monday, and now we have a slightly better idea of what to expect from all 32 teams this year. Some surprised us for better, other for worse, while there were teams that did just what we expected from them. So let’s dive into four biggest takeaways of the Week 1.

Bills are The Worst Team in the NFL
Buffalo Bills did not only suffer an embarrassing 3-47 defeat handed to them by Baltimore Ravens, but they also looked like a team that has no identity. The fact that head coach Sean McDermott isn’t sure about who should be his quarterback doesn’t help. Bills are in for a disappointing season after last year’s playoff run.

Patrick Mahomes II is Legit
There were definitely some doubts last year when Kansas City Chiefs decided to trade up and grab quarterback Patrick Mahomes II. Then they decided to move on from a proved veteran in Alex Smith a year later and give Mahomes the keys of the franchise. If the Chiefs win at LA Chargers is any indicator, they made the right decision. The 22-year-old balled out, finishing the game with 256 passing yards and four touchdowns, and showed he is the future of Kansas City.

Browns Should Start Baker Mayfield
Cleveland Browns didn’t continue with their losing ways on Sunday when they faced Pittsburgh Steelers, but they didn’t start the winning trend as well. Browns managed to get a tie, but there is an overall feeling that they could have done more. And if they had their first overall pick, QB Baker Mayfield, on the field, they would have. Tyrod Taylor showed against the Steelers that he isn’t most comfortable throwing the ball or making big passing plays, something that is just shameful not to do when you have weapons like Jarvis Landry and Josh Gordon.

Aaron Rodgers is the Best Player in NFL
We will keep this one short. Green Bay Packers looked like they will get smoked out from the field after their quarterback Aaron Rodgers had to leave the game against the Bears. But, Rodgers bounced back from the knee injury two quarters later and nulled the Packers’ 20-point deficit, getting a win for Green Bay. Do you need more to realize he is the best player in the league?
