After one week of NFL football, it’s time to discuss power rankings. Out of the handful of games that were played throughout Week 1, we were given affirmation, we were given surprises, and we were also given a lot to think about. That being said, here’s how we rank the top five teams at this current juncture.

5. Cleveland Browns

The Browns gave the Chiefs a serious run for their money, and the Chiefs are number two on this list. Cleveland is stacked this season and may go far if unchecked.

4. New Orleans Saints

With Drew Brees no longer playing quarterback for the Saints, people wondered whether they’d be as strong. But if Brees’ replacement, Jameis Winston, continues to play like he did last weekend, they’ll have nothing to worry about.

3. Los Angeles Rams

Teaming up offensive coordinator Sean McVay with quarterback Matthew Stafford seemed like a match made in heaven. After Week 1, in which Stafford posted a league-high QB rating in a strong victory over the Chicago Bears, we love what we’re seeing so far.

2. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs’ offensive line was slightly revamped over the offseason, but the team as a whole picked up where they left off as if nothing had changed—right in the wins column.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After a strong Super Bowl win, the defending champions proved that they’re still going strong when they took down Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. With Tom Brady at the helm, this placement is a no-brainer.
