The NFL will okay five games to be played internationally next season; four games taking place in London and the fifth in Mexico City.

It is not the first time the NFL games will be played outside the country but the last season did end without a game being hosted in Mexico. That will change next season as one game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers is schedule to take place at Azteca Stadium, a familiar field for NFL fans.

The Azteca Stadium hosted NFL games in 2016 and 2017 and almost hosted a game for the Chargers last November. However, poor weather conditions forced the team to move back to Los Angeles. Fellow NFC team the Los Angeles Rams will also play an international game against Cincinnati in London. The other teams to travel to the UK will be the Houston Texans when they meet the Jaguars and the Panthers in a game they play the Chicago Oakland.

In the London matchups, two games will be played in Wembley while two will be played in Premier League club Tottenham Hot Spur’s new stadium. At least two teams have faced off in Wembley each year since 2007 while three games were played at Twickenham.

Besides the NFL, the NBA, the NHL and the MLB also have games in London for every season.
