The New York Knicks acquired forward OG Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors, the team announced on Saturday. This trade sees the Knicks send RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a 2024 second-round pick to the Raptors. The Knicks will also receive forward Precious Achiuwa and guard Malachi Flynn.

Anunoby has long been a target of the Knicks, who are now looking to re-sign him as a free agent this summer, sources have claimed. The Knicks strongly believe that the forward will fit in well alongside Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle.

“OG’s complete offensive game and ability to defend multiple positions will enhance our team on both ends of the court,” Knicks President Leon Rose said during his announcement of the player’s arrival. This season, Anunoby has averaged 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game for the Raptors. Last year, Anunoby ranked second in defensive half-court matchups against All-Stars, data from ESPN Stats & Information showed.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
