Jacksonville Jaguars will want to forget the Thursday Night Football’s game against Miami Dolphins as soon as possible. Not only did the Jags suffer a 13-31 loss, but they also lost multiple starters in the process.

Jags immediately got to an unlucky start, as linebacker Leon Jacobs went down early in the first quarter. Jacobs injured his right knee during a run by Dolphins’ Myles Gaskin and had to be carted off the field. Reports say that he might have ruptured his patellar tendon. If this ends up being true, the 24-year-old Jacobs could be lost for the season.

This would be devastating news for Leon Jacobs, especially considering the fact that many predicted him a strong season this year. He showed promise in 2019, finishing the season with 42 tackles and 2.0 sacks.

Aside from Jacobs, Jacksonville also saw starting free safety Andrew Wingard and kicker Brandon White getting injured. Wingard had to leave the game in the second quarter due to core muscle injury while White experienced groin issues in the final period of the game.
