The once-powerful European giant AC Milan has suffered their 3rd straight loss, this time to Fiorentina, in the Italian Serie A making this their worst start in 81 years. This loss puts more and more pressure on Marco Giampaolo, who managed to win only 2 games in 6 matches. Despite the horrible start of the season, Milan has pulled off from the Europa League due to financial problems and now are focused on the Calcio.

The game went down the hill for Milan early in the 14th minute, when Ismael Bennancer tackled Frank Ribery in the penalty box. Erik Pulgar converted the kick from the spot, making it 0-1 for the visitors from Florence.

Things did not go well for Milan even in the second 45 minutes when Matteo Mussachio earned a straight red card. Shortly after the red card, Fiorentina increased their lead by 0-2 with Gaetano Gastorovilli’s goal in the 66th minute. Only 4 minutes after the goal, Fiorentina was awarded another penalty, but Federico Chiesa missed the penalty. Despite the missed penalty, Fiorentina scored the 3rd goal through Frank Ribery in the 78th minute. The only thing that Milan managed to do is to score a goal back through Rafael Leao in the 80th minute.
