Miami Heat Completes Sweep of Indiana Pacers

The Miami Heat have completed their sweep of the Indian Pacers, taking Game 4 by a score of 99-87.

They will have a short break while they wait to see who their second-round opponent will be. The Heat will face the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic series, which Milwaukee currently leads 3-1.

The Indian Pacers have now lost in the first round of the NBA playoffs for five straight seasons.

The Heat seemed to have a formula in the series against the Pacers, regularly jumping out to a quick, double-digit lead and then doing just enough to stay ahead at the end of the game.

Miami received a huge boost from its bench in Game 4. After star player Jimmy Butler left the game with a shoulder injury early in the second half, the bench got busy. Bench players ended up scoring a total of 41 points to seal the victory.

Butler has been nursing this shoulder injury for some time and his being able to play through it could be critical for the Heat, who need Butler if they want to have a chance in the second round, presumably against the Bucks, who had the best record in the entire NBA this year.
