Sources confirmed on Saturday that the Miami Dolphins have reached an agreement to sign wide receiver Chosen Robbie Anderson. The 29-year-old player was released by the Arizona Cardinals on March 8 after joining the team last season in a midseason trade.

Before being offloaded by the Cardinals, Anderson had seven catches for 76 yards in 10 games last season. Prior to his trade to the Cardinals, Anderson played six games for the Carolina Panthers, making 13 catches for 206 yards and a touchdown.

Anderson is the second receiver that the Dolphins have acquired this season; the first being former New York Jets receiver Braxton Berrios. He will have to compete for a place in the roster with Berrios as well as River Cracraft, Cedrick Wilson, and 2022 fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma during the team’s upcoming training camp.

Currently, the Dolphins’ receiving corps is led by Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who together set an NFL record in 2022 for most receiving yards by a pair of teammates with 3,066 yards.
