Dallas Mavericks’ sensation Luka Doncic continues to amaze the NBA world with his spectacular performances at the start of the new season. The latest one came against San Antonio Spurs when Doncic led Mavs to 117-110 win and he became the second-youngest player to have 40 or more points in a triple-double effort behind LeBron James.

Doncic ended the Spurs game with 42 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds and joined LeBron James as the only player in history to have a 40+ points triple-double before turning 21. It was also his sixth triple-double in 13 games.

“It feels like every day there are stats you don’t know about, stats that you read about,” – said Doncic after the game. “It’s great to hit.”

Doncic is currently averaging 29.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists, and this shows up in Mavs’ win and loss column. Dallas is currently fifth in the West, with 8-5 record.

“This guy can do anything he wants to on a basketball court,” – said the team’s coach Rick Carlisle. “He’s having one of those magical runs right now. It’s a phenomenal thing to watch. It’s a phenomenal thing to be a part of.”

Luka Doncic will try to continue his magical run against Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, before taking on the Western Conference juggernaut Houston Rockets.
