This weekend was the Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Misano, Italy, a thrilling race for the San Marino Moto Grand Prix. Moto racing fans had the opportunity to watch one of the most interesting races of the whole season.

The Frenchman Fabio Quartararo driving a Yamaha SRT managed to hold the lead throughout the race but Marc Marquez took the victory from him with an outstanding move in the final lap, leading him to his sixth world title.

Honda’s very own Marquez finished first with a time of 0:42:25.163 and  Qurtararo followed second with just 0.903 seconds more on the clock. Vinales finished third with 1.636 seconds more than Marquez.

This victory is really important for the Spaniard as it’s his 77th Grand Prix title, breaking the record previously held by the famous British driver Mike Hailwood.

The 26-year-old driver told reporters that at the end he just decided to go for it, while talking about the outstanding move he managed to pull off for his victory.

His rival Quartararo said that it was the first time that he had battled like this with Marquez and that the race was very tough.

The legendary Italian driver Valentino Rossi secured the fourth place in his home race.
