Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise during the summer transfer window. In exchange, Man United would send right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to Palace, his former club.
Olise signed a four-year contract with Palace last August, rejecting advances from Chelsea. This summer, the player is expected to be more likely to depart the club as Palace looks to restructure. Still, Chelsea are believed to remain interested in the 22-year-old player, with Liverpool also reportedly in the mix.
While United triggered the 12-month extension included in Wan-Bissaka’s contract, the club reportedly did so in order to avoid allowing the defender to depart the club as a free agent this summer. ESPN claimed that the decision was a financial one, enabling the club to raise funds by selling the player in the summer.
