U.S. international midfielder Tyler Adams is expected to be on the move in the summer if his Leeds United gets relegated from the Premier League this season. And according to multiple reports, Manchester United will be first in line trying to get the USMNT star.

Leeds is currently sitting in the relegation zone of the Premier League and would need a miracle to remain in the top flight. If that miracle doesn’t happen, several of their key players, including Adams, are expected to leave to continue playing at the highest level.

Tyler Adams has been a key player for Leeds since arriving from RB Leipzig last summer in a £20 million transfer. He has made 26 appearances for the club in all competitions but missed the last two months with a hamstring injury, a period that coincided with Leeds’ poor run.

Since Adams has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027, Leeds isn’t expected to sell the American for cheap even if they are relegated. Reportedly, a bid of at least £35 million would be needed for them to consider selling.

Adams started his career in MLS with New York Red Bulls before leaving for Germany to join Leipzig in 2019. He has been a USMNT member since 2017 and has 36 appearances and one goal for the national side.
