Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has urged Marcus Rashford to continue his stellar World Cup form for Manchester United now that the club is back in action following the international break. The 25-year-old player scored three times for England during their journey to the World Cup quarterfinals.

Rashford appeared to remain in fine form during his first outing since returning to Old Trafford, scoring the second goal in a 2-0 victory over Burnley in the Carabao Cup Round of 16.

“I think he is on a very good level,” ten Hag said of the 25-year-old player following the game. “His performances are improving a lot from game to game and I hope and expect him to keep going with his performance level.”

Ten Hag went on to praise Rashford’s quick counter-attacking runs as well as his dribbling and finishing, going on to express his hope that Rashford’s concentration will hold as the Red Devils resume their Premier League campaign.

Along with Rashford, ten Hag also selected five other Man Utd players for the Burnley game who had also participated in the World Cup. They are Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia.

Man Utd returns to the Premier League on Tuesday evening as they host Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
