Lonzo Ball will return from injury and play for the LA Lakers in Wednesday’s preseason friendly against the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas.
Ball, who has been out with injury for six months, is slated to play between 10 and 30 minutes when the Lakers meet the Warriors on Wednesday. Coach Luke Walton also expects the 20-year-old to play in Laker’s preseason finale against the Warriors in San Jose.
“Feels like a long time,” – Ball said before the Lakers left for Vegas on Tuesday. “So I am very happy to get back on the floor finally, and it all starts with tomorrow.”
Ball also spoke about his injury, which had left him sidelined since March 28, when he played against Dallas.
“It’s frustrating when you play basketball your whole life and then it gets taken away from you for a little bit. But I am happy to be back.”
Fellow guard, Josh Hart, will miss the game after he was injured in practice on Monday.
