Just days after signing Spanish star midfielder Thiago from Bayern Munich, Liverpool are already gearing up for another big move. This time, the reigning Premier League champions have their eyes set on Watford’s forward Ismaila Sarr.

Sarr joined Watford last summer from Rennes for $38 million and had an encouraging first season in England, scoring six goals and providing six assists. However, he is already looking to leave the club considering Watford was relegated to Championship at the end of 2019/20.

According to multiple reports from England, Liverpool is looking to add depth up front and have identified Sarr as the perfect fit for their high-tempo team. They already contacted Watford to inquire about the player and were reportedly told that the 22-year-old forward could leave for $51 million.

Besides Liverpool, Ismaila Sarr also attracted interest from several other high-profile clubs. One of them are Manchester United, who view the Senegalese as an alternative if they don’t manage to seal the move for Borussia Dortmund’s starlet Jadon Sancho.

Before coming to England, Sarr spent two seasons with Rennes, where he scored 18 goals and had 16 assists in 77 games. He also played with Metz.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
