Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is joining the team’s already lengthy injury list. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, James is dealing with an abdominal strain that will sideline him for “at least one week.”

The injury doesn’t seem severe, but the Lakers reportedly want to take a cautious approach considering it is only the beginning of the season.

According to ESPN, James got hurt during the 30 points, 10 assists outing in the 119-117 win against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. The 37-year-old was already out in late October, missing games against the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder because of the same injury.

In the six games he was on the floor for the Lakers this season, James averaged 24.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. His shooting numbers are not so great, however, as he is only making 46.7 percent of his shots from the floor while hitting 34.7 percent on three-pointers.

The Los Angeles Lakers had a slow start of the season, losing three out of their first five games. Lately, however, they seemed to have found their footing and are currently riding a three-game winning streak.
