As LeBron James continues to do things on the basketball court that is nothing short of amazing, the debate about the greatest player in NBA history is being fueled even more. But, if you ask Houston Rockets’ general manager Daryl Morey, the debate is already over.
Speaking on The Dan Patrick Show, Morey said that James is the best of all-time and that it isn’t even close in his mind.
“You look at his ability to generate wins and championship probability over time, and you basically break that down. You don’t need all the numbers. You can watch as well and see that.” – said Morey. “But if you basically isolate that and also look at the career he’s had, frankly I think at this point it’s become a bit of a big margin, actually, where he’s come out ahead. I know that’s a little controversial.“
Morey also discussed how LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers compare to the rest of the Western Conference. Although he thinks that his Rockets and Golden State Warriors will be ahead, he also added that you should never count out James.

After spending four years in his second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James decided to leave Ohio for the second time this summer. He signed with the Lakers where he will join forces with young Lakers’ stars in the attempt to bring back the NBA title to the city of Los Angeles.
