There’s a lot of buzz leading to the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, and the list of starters has finally been unveiled. LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are some of the NBA superstars set to take part in the brand-new four-team tournament All-Star Game.
The LA Lakers star LeBron James will extend his All-Star record after being selected for his 21st straight game. He previously served as the All-Star captain in six games between 2018 and 2023, but the NBA eventually abandoned this concept last year and started experimenting with new formats.
The NBA All-Star Game will feature a mini-tournament with four teams in a three-game event, including two semi-finals and the championship. One of the teams taking part in the Game will be the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge.
In addition to James, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Nikola Jokić (Denver Nuggets), and Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) will represent the Western Conference.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo will lead the Eastern Conference, alongside Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks), and Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics).
The Golden State Warriors will host the 2025 NBA All-Star Game at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on February 16.
