Super Bowl LXI, which will determine the champion for the 2026 NFL season, is set to take place in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium, according to the announcement made by the league this week.

This will mark the second time in five years that a Super Bowl game is played at SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. The venue previously hosted the Super Bowl LVI for the 2021 NFL season, which saw the Rams get a 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“We are very excited to bring the Super Bowl back to Los Angeles for the second time in five years,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in a statement. “The city did an outstanding job hosting Super Bowl 56 in the incredible SoFi Stadium, and we believe that Super Bowl 61 will be even more memorable.”

The NFL also revealed that the Super Bowl LXI will be broadcast by Disney. This will be the first time since 2006’s Super Bowl XL.

With the announcement, the league has now sorted out Super Bowl hosts for the next four years. Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders, will host the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII, followed by Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and the Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
