LAFC currently have the best record in MLS, but that doesn’t mean they don’t think there is a room for improvement. According to reputable Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, LAFC is interested in Juventus’ striker Mario Mandzukic and are trying to work out a deal to bring him to the United States.

Di Marzio reports that Mandzukic isn’t in the plans of Juventus’ new coach Maurizio Sarri and that he was told he can leave. An unnamed club from Qatar already made an offer for Croatian, but LAFC also emerged as a strong candidate for his services.

Considering the fact that the MLS transfer window is closed, Mandzukic would come to Los Angeles and train with his new team until he could be registered.

Mario Mandzukic has had a successful career in Europe, playing for some of continents biggest clubs including Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munchen. He joined Juventus in 2015, and since played 162 games in all competitions with the club, scoring 44 goals in the process.

Mandzukic was expected to leave Juve during the summer, but decided to stay in Italy until January in order to consider all options. It wouldn’t be surprising, however, if he elects an earlier exit considering the fact that he isn’t expected to dress up for the club anymore.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
