Paris Saint Germain’s star attacker Kylian Mbappe has been subject to various transfer rumors in recent months, but it appears that the 21-year-old forward doesn’t intend to leave Parc des Princes just yet. Speaking with beIN SPORTS on Tuesday, Mbappe said that he will stay with PSG for the next season, “no matter what.”

Several high-profile clubs are reportedly looking to make a move for Mbappe this summer, including Real Madrid and Liverpool. Real has been especially keen on the Frenchman, tapping him as their next big star and a leader for the future.

However, Mbappe, who has been with PSG since 2017, is ready to prolong his stay in France.

“I’m here. I am in the project for a fourth year,” the player told beIN SPORTS.

According to Mbappe, the upcoming season marks PSG’s 50th anniversary year he wants to commemorate it with trophies.

“The 50th year of the club is an important year for the club, the supporters, everyone, so I will be there no matter what,” he added. “I will try to bring back trophies with the team and give the best of myself.”

Despite his assurance that he will stay with the club in 2020/21, Kylian Mbappe’s long-term future at PSG still remains uncertain. He has two years left on his deal, and two sides reportedly still haven’t discussed an extension.

If Mbappe doesn’t resign soon, PSG might be tempted to sell him in January or the summer to avoid having to parting with player at a discount or losing him for free in 2022.

Mbappe arrived to PSG from Monaco in a deal worth $185 million and scored 90 goals in all competitions so far. He helped the team to three consecutive Ligue 1 trophies.
