Al Ittihad striker Karim Benzema is considering leaving his Saudi Pro League club, sources have claimed. Benzema is reportedly unhappy with his career in Saudi Arabia to date, despite scoring 15 goals in 24 games in all competitions.

Having departed Real Madrid during the summer following a 14-year tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu, Benzema hit his peak in 2022 when he won the coveted Ballon d’Or prize. Still, the club is believed to be unwilling to allow Benzema to depart, neither on a loan deal nor a permanent move.

Benzema has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea being listed as a potential suitor for the 36-year-old. A move back to Real Madrid is reportedly not on the table. Currently, Al Ittihad finds itself in seventh position on the Saudi Pro League table, winning eight of their 18 matches.

Ben loves sports so much but prefers watching other people do it. He prefers not to share what teams he's supporting but he is willing to admit that Lebron James is, in fact, the king.
