Juventus are ready to take English forward Jadon Sancho off of Manchester United’s hands. According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Juve is pursuing a deal that would see them land Sancho on loan.

The Seria A side is proposing a short-term loan in January without an option to make the transfer permanent. They are also willing to contribute 30% of Sancho’s £250,000 ($315,000) weekly salary.

While the Premier League side would be open to letting Sancho go to Italy, the player himself doesn’t seem to be so keen on the move. The 23-year-old would welcome a return to Borussia Dortmund, where he had the best performances of his career. Sancho’s preferred destination doesn’t seem realistic at the moment since the Bundesliga side reportedly expressed reservations about bringing him back.

Jadon Sancho arrived at Manchester United in the summer of 2021 from Borussia in a transfer reportedly worth around £73 million ($92 million). He was expected to be a missing piece for the Red Devils in their quest to return to the top of the Premier League.

However, Sancho’s first two seasons with United saw him struggle and score only 12 goals and contribute six assists in all competitions. His poor form saw him fall out of favor with manager Erik Ten Hag, resulting in a public dispute between the two early in the 2023-24 campaign. He made his last appearance for the club in August.
