Juventus is looking towards Premier League as the Seria A powerhouse tries to bolster their attack. According to several reports, Juve made an approach for Roberto Firmino and has already offered €23 million to Liverpool in order to get the Brazilian striker to Turin.

It is believed Premier League club wouldn’t be happy about letting Firmino go, but this is likely their last chance to cash in on the player. The 30-year-old player is approaching the final year of his contract, and he isn’t interested in extending due to a lack of playing time.

Firmino only started 10 games in Premier League in 2021-22, scoring five goals and adding four assists. He is expected to be a backup option next season as well due to fierce competition up front that includes the likes of Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz.

Juventus, on the other hand, could use Firmino as a complementary option to Dusan Vlahovic. The club just lost Paulo Dybala in free agency and has been scrambling to get another attacker on board. One of the options was Inter’s efficient striker Edin Dzeko, but the Bosnian reportedly turned down the move.

Roberto Firmino has played a total of 327 games in all competitions for Liverpool since arriving in 2015. He scored 98 goals while adding 74 assists.
