Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham will not be available for the England national squad during the upcoming international break as he struggled with injury, Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed.
While England’s medical team may assess Bellingham’s injured shoulder, Ancelotti insisted that he “can’t play with the national team” at this time. “He’ll be assessed [by England],” Ancelotti said during the post-match press conference after Madrid’s 5-1 win over Valencia on Saturday. “If he didn’t play today, he can’t play with the national team. He’ll do specific work on his shoulder. After the break, he can play again.”
Bellingham has proven to be Los Blancos’ breakout star this season, scoring 13 goals in 13 La Liga appearances. The pressure lies on Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo to perform for Madrid during Bellingham’s absence.
