The Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid scored 31 points and made 10 rebounds during the 76ers’ 121-111 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, thereby extending his 30-10 streak to 13 games. While he landed awkwardly trying to block a shot with 5:25 left in the first quarter, he was able to recover, scoring all of his points of the game afterward.

Embii’s 30-10 streak is the longest since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 16-game streak in the 1971-72 season. The only other players in NBA history to achieve a 13-game streak are Wilt Chamberlain, who made this streak on multiple occasions, and Elgin Baylor, with a 15-game streak in 1961-62.

The center has achieved an array of impressive stats during his illustrious eight seasons in Philadelphia. In addition to becoming the first player to 850 points, 250 rebounds, and 150 assists in his first 25 games, Embiid has become the first player since Michael Jordan to score 30-plus points in 20 of his first 25 games.
