The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to be available to play in his team’s final regular season game against the New York Giants next Sunday, multiple sources have reported. He is not, however, expected to be included in the Eagles team to face the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.

Hurts’ inclusion in the game against the Giants is expected to be largely dependent on the outcome of the Eagles’ clash with the Saints. Should Philadelphia emerge victorious against the Saints, they will secure their place as the NFC’s number one seed, thereby giving them the luxury of going without Hurts for another week in favor of giving him more recovery time.

League sources have confirmed that should the Eagles fail to defeat the Saints, then there is a high probability that Hurts will be expected to feature in the Giants’ clash.

Despite his exclusion from the Saints’ game, the Eagles are not worried about Hurts’ fitness or recovery from injury. The quarterback was a full participant in the Eagles’ practice sessions this week and the team was reportedly impressed with the speed of his throws.
