The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without their standout linebacker Myles Jack for the clash against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. According to multiple reports, Jack is dealing with a back injury and didn’t travel with the team to London, where the game is being played.

The decision was somewhat expected, considering that Jack didn’t practice the entire week. The 26-year-old got hurt in Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans.

The Jaguars will look for their first win in 2021 against the Dolphins, but the task will be much harder without Jack on their defense. The UCLA product has been playing well despite Jacksonville’s struggles and is leading the team with 36 tackles throughout the first five games.

In Jack’s absence, the Jags will most likely have to turn to either their 2020’s fourth-round pick Shaquille Quarterman or third-year player Dakota Allen. Both players spent the majority of this season playing on special teams and didn’t contribute much on defense.

Quarterman, who has nine tackles for the year, played 45 snaps on defense and 77 snaps on special teams. Allen’s defensive contributions are even slimmer, with 13 snaps on defense and 113 snaps on special teams.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
