This weekend, the Hungaroring track will be the host of the exciting Hungarian Grand Prix and the thrilling surprises began early with the unexpected turnout of the race qualifying session. With his popularity constantly rising and the results getting better and better, the young Max Verstappen certainly shows that he has a stunning career awaiting him in the future.

The 21-year-old Red Bull driver managed to take the pole position for the first time in his career during the Hungaroring qualifying session. Verstappen qualified first with a time of 1:14.572, Valtteri Bottas got the second position being just 0.018 seconds slower than Verstappen and the third position was reserved by Bottas’ colleague Lewis Hamilton with a time of 1:14.769. Ferrari managed to secure the next two places with Charles Leclerc securing the fourth and Sebastian Vettel getting the fifth position.

Just a few weeks after Formula 1 fans all over the world shared negative reactions about F1 being too dull and predictable, complaining about F1’s safety rules, the races started surprising everyone with unexpected results. Now, young drivers like LeClerc and Verstappen are changing the score boards with the latter having won 2 out of the last 3 races, showing everyone that a new time in F1 is coming.
