The Atlanta Hawks rookie Kobe Bufkin is expected to be out for at least two weeks after he suffered a thumb fracture. The guard was injured while playing for the Hawks’ G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks on Thursday night.
Following his injury, Bufkin underwent X-rays on Friday which revealed his fracture. The Hawks confirmed that he would be monitored and re-evaluated in two weeks.
Selected as the number 15 overall pick in the NBA Draft, Bufkin has been used on occasion in the NBA by the Hawks as needed. He played in two of Atlanta’s first five games, during which he scored his first career point on a free throw.
