The Memphis Grizzlies’ injury problems have worsened after Luke Kennard and Xavier Tillman were both declared injured. Kennard is expected to be sidelined for two weeks as he recovers from a bone bruise to his left knee while Tilman is considered week-to-week with a left knee injury as well.

Kennard was only able to play for six minutes in the Grizzlies’ 134-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last week after which he missed the past two games. Prior to his injury, Tillman was averaging 9.3 points per game and is second in the team with 6.7 rebounds per game.

These two injuries are the latest in a growing list for Memphis, with center Steven Adams ruled out due to needing knee surgery while guard Marcus Smart is out for two to three weeks due to a sprained left foot. To add to the Grizzlies’ woes, two-time All-Star guard Ja Morant was suspended for the first 25 games of the season.
