The Greek Freak dominated headlines in the 2018-19 season with unbelievable performances, high-flying dunks, and his leadership in taking the Milwaukee Bucks to the top of the Eastern Conference in the regular season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s unreal performance was awarded with the 2018-19 NBA MVP Award on Monday night in New York. He received 78 of 101 first-place votes, beating out Rockets guard James Harden and Thunder forward Paul George for the top honor.

Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks (60-22) to the NBA’s best regular season record in 2018-19 and their first division title since 2001 with a consistent dose of mind-boggling performances.

The 24-year-old forward’s statistics were unparalleled in the 2018-19 season, as he averaged a massive double-double with 27.7 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. He shot an absurd 58% for the season.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that the Greece native also chipped in 5.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game? Antetokounmpo dominated on both ends of the court and put together one of the best seasons in recent NBA history.

Antetokounmpo is a deserving winner of the 2018-19 MVP trophy and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he adds more to his collection in the future.
