Some time ago, Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane said that Gareth Bale was very close to leaving the club but his future plans were unknown. The departure came after a period of disagreements between the player and the club’s management, ending with Bale’s agent accusing Zidane of disrespect.

Now, the future of the legendary goal-getter is finally evident with sources claiming that he will be signing a contract with the Chinese football club Jiangsu Suning. Apparently, the contract is in the final stage of preparation. What shocked everyone was the claim that Bale will be earning a weekly paycheck of an unbelievable $1.2 million, making him one of the highest-paid soccer players in the world, and of all time!

Bale didn’t enter the field during the match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. In this match Real Madrid suffered a humiliating defeat, finishing the match with 7-3 for Atletico.

30-year-old Bale started his professional career playing for the club Southampton in 2006. From Southampton, he continued in Tottenham, from where he was acquired by Real Madrid in 2013. So far, he has had one of the most successful careers in present-day soccer.
