After Kemba Walker left the NBA to play with AS Monaco in EuroLeague, another former All-Star point guard could follow in his footsteps. According to reports from Europe’s BasketNews, John Wall is engaged in talks with EuroLeague side Olimpia Milano.

Reportedly, Wall is interested in resuming his basketball career in Europe after failing to attract interest from NBA teams.

Wall started the 2022–23 season with the Los Angeles Clippers, playing in 34 games and averaging 11.4 points, 5.2 assists, and 2.7 rebounds. He was traded to the Houston Rockets ahead of the trade deadline and was waived several days later.

Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes previously reported that Wall organized a private workout for a number of NBA teams in Las Vegas last month in hopes of landing a contract for the 2023-24 season. It seems that the attending teams were not particularly impressed as no offer came Wall’s way.

John Wall entered the NBA in 2010 as the first overall pick by the Washington Wizards. He made five consecutive All-Star appearances between 2014 and 2018 before a series of injuries derailed his career. Wall’s NBA career averages include 18.7 points, 8.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game.
