Minutes after Odell Beckham Jr. signed a record-breaking 5-year contract extension worth $95 million, football fans took to social media to congratulate the New York Giants wide receiver.

From NFL colleagues to reporters, football fans to celebrities; social media was lit with tweets and posts related to Beckham. LA Chargers’ quarterback, Cardale Jones, tweeted a hilarious message saying,

“Hey man, you might not remember me but I’m your cousin on your great uncle Ray Ray side. Saw you at the family reunion in 03. Can I have some money? Congrats on the new deal.”

Fellow wide receiver Sterling Shepard tweeted, “Congrats to my brudda couldn’t be more proud been solid since day one helped me a lot on my journey…you deserve It.”

Shepard also released a celebratory video of Beckham dancing shirtless in the locker room as other players grinned and danced.

According to the new contract, Beckham has $65 million in guaranteed money. This eclipses Mike Evans’ of Tampa Bay Buccaneers whose contract guarantees $55 million and Antonio Brown’s $17 per year average.

With the huge contract, comes great responsibility. Beckham is already the face of the New York Giants, which attracts great pressure as commentator Max Kellerman was quick to say,

“OBJ is the most talented WR of all time. Now he’s the highest paid ever, and thus under the most pressure.”

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
