It looks like Philippe Coutinho’s time with FC Barcelona could come to an end sooner than anyone expected. La Liga giants have reportedly made the 26-year-old Brazilian star available in transfer talks and would part with him if someone offers $120 million.

According to ESPN‘s Barcelona correspondent Moises Llorens, Coutinho would like to remain in Barcelona but the club is ready to move on and recuperate at least a good chunk of $140 million they paid to Liverpool for his services in January 2018.

“Barcelona do not have a firm offer from any club at this point, but some have expressed an interest in the player,” – a source at the club told Llorens. “Key people, who are either directly or indirectly linked with various clubs have been following the situation closely.”

Coutinho was linked with several clubs in the recent months with Manchester United and Chelsea being the clubs that showed the most interest in acquiring him.

Since joining Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho failed to replicate the form he had in Liverpool that made him one of the most sought after players in the world. He struggled with consistency and failed to cement his place in the team’s starting 11. In 41 games he was featured in 2018/19 season, he managed to score nine goals and provide five assists.
